MITHI, June 1: The district and sessions judge of Tharparkar has sentenced a man to death for killing his five-month pregnant wife with an axe.

Wahid was convicted on Saturday of killing Khandli, 25, in the Haido village, Mithi taluka, on January 4, 2006.
