RAWALPINDI, May 24: Ambassador to Afghanistan Tariq Azizuddin on Saturday called on President Pervez Musharraf and thanked for the government’s efforts for his release from the captivity of kidnappers.

The president inquired after Mr Azizuddin’s health and congratulated him on his safe return.

Mr Azizuddin was released last week from the custody of tribal militants.—APP
