HYDERABAD: Triple murder case culprits identified, claims DPO

HYDERABAD, April 20: The District Police Officer (DPO) Hyderabad, Imran Shaukat, claimed on Sunday that accused in the triple murder case in the jurisdiction of Makki Shah police station on April 11 have been identified and asked them to surrender.

At a news conference at police headquarters here on Sunday, he avoided to disclose names of the accused for investigation purposes and hoped that they might surrender with in 48 hours.

He asked them to surrender or if police reached them it could be harmful. He said that police took time for investigation to ensure arrest of the culprits.

He said that there were four assailants. Two of them entered the shop and two waited outside.

Three persons, including owner of a cellular phone company’s franchise and gunman of DSP traffic, were gunned down on Fatima Jinnah road on April 11 by two unidentified armed bandits, who took away Rs70,000 cash and cellphones.
