KOHAT: Six policemen injured in explosion

KOHAT, March 14: Six policemen were injured when a bomb exploded at the Shakardarra Alam Shaheed checkpost near the Lachi town on Friday morning, police said.

Officials said some miscreants had planted explosives at the back wall of the checkpost on the Shakardarra road. The structure collapsed after the explosion.

The injured, head constable Imam Hassan and constables Niaz Badshah, Burhanud Din, Bashir Hussain, Abdur Rehman and Irfan Ali, were taken to the KDA divisional headquarters hospital.

Police registered a case against unknown miscreants.
