NEW DELHI, Oct 20: India’s Congress party president Sonia Gandhi spoke to Pakistan People’s Party chairperson Benazir Bhutto by telephone on Saturday and expressed sorrow over the recent attack on her procession in Karachi.

She expressed her anguish over the loss of a large number of lives in the explosions that also left hundreds injured, said Congress media department chairman M. Veerappa Moily in a statement.—APP
