MARDAN, July 11: The district and sessions judge on Wednesday sentenced a villager to death and fined him Rs100,000 after he was found guilty of killing his brother.

The court ruled that the prosecution had proved its case against accused Sajjad.

Sajjad had developed differences with his wife and he divorced her.
