LAHORE, June 24: Lahore won the fourth Punjab Women karate championship by claiming seven gold medals on Sunday.

The metropolis also grabbed one silver and two bronze medals among eight participating districts.

Sahiwal claimed second position with one gold, four silver and two bronze medals, followed by Faisalabad, which earned four silver and one bronze medal.

The competitions were held in five different weight categories of kumite.
