KHAAR, March 31: Authorities of the Bajaur Agency have decided to launch a drive against unregistered vehicles and motorcycles in the tribal area.

In a directive issued here on Saturday, tribesmen were given a 15-day deadline for getting their vehicles registered.

The order was pasted on the walls in all the markets and in bazaars throughout the tribal agency. It said that strict action would be taken against owners of unregistered vehicles after the deadline.

It also said that action would be also taken against vehicles using ‘applied for registration’ instead of proper number plates. The decision was taken in the backdrop of the killing of two ISI officers by unidentified motorcyclists on Tuesday. —Correspondent
