SUKKUR, Feb 19: The executive engineer, irrigation, east division, Khairpur, has announced group-wise water rotation programme of several channels in the division due to shortage of irrigation water in River Indus.

In group III, the irrigation channels of Sathio Wah, Khan Wah, Bilawal Wah, Saneesa Minor, Sada Rang Wah, Pandhro Wah, Veeho Wah, and distributaries will be closed on Feb 23.

In group IV, the irrigation channels of Shah Nawaz Wah, Dheedhano Minor, Sone Wah, Sawri Minor, Kalra Minor, Faiz Gunj Wah, and Ali Nawaz Wah will open form Feb 23 and will be closed on Mar 3.
