VLADIKAVKAZ (Russia), Sept 11: A Russian military helicopter crashed on Monday in the North Caucasus killing 10 people, air force press service chief Alexander Drobyshevsky told NTV television.
“Twelve passengers and three members of the crew were found on board the helicopter, 10 people were dead,” Mr Drobyshevsky said.
Four people were wounded and one soldier was missing, he added.
Three generals and nine high-ranking officers were on board the Mi-8 helicopter, a spokesman for the headquarters of the North Caucasus forces said.—AFP
