DERA GHAZI KHAN: The last remaining five gangsters of the notorious Ladi Gang, led by Molvi Yaqoob, surrendered to Kot Mubarak police in the tehsil Koh-e-Sulaiman.

They laid down heavy weapons at the police station in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Muhammad Usman Khalid and District Police Officer Sadiq Baloch.

Those who surrendered were identified as Yaqoob Molvi, son of Ilahi Bakhsh, Musa, son of Ilahi Bakhsh, Sajid, son of Bilal, Rashid, son of Wali Muhammad, and Nazir, son of Musa.

Speaking on the occasion, DPO Baloch said the surrendered individuals would face their pending cases in courts according to the law. He assured that the government and law enforcement agencies would extend all possible legal assistance to them but emphasised that all matters would be resolved strictly within the framework of law and court proceedings.

DC, also senior commandant of Border Military Police, Muhammad Usman Khalid said all factions of the Ladi Gang had been offered a path toward peace and that the positive outcomes of this reconciliation would soon be evident in the form of improved law and order not only in Koh-e-Sulaiman but also beyond.

He added that development funds would now be utilized in the area to provide education, health services, and other basic facilities, marking the beginning of a new era of progress following the restoration of peace.
