CM Bugti promises resolution of doctors’ issues

QUETTA: Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti on Tuesday assured doctors of government hospitals to resolve issues they are facing in the health sector.

The chief minister gave the assurance during a meeting at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat with a delegation of doctors’ organisations, whose representatives briefed the chief minister on issues they are facing across the province.

The representatives included Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Quetta President Dr Nadeem Achakzai, Senior Vice President Dr Kamyar Khan, General Secretary Dr Shoaib Baloch, Young Doctors Association (YDA) Balochistan members Dr Hafeez Mandokhail, Dr Ali Jan, Dr Adil and Dr Muzammil, as well as Jamal Shah of Allied Health Organisations.

The chief minister said the government was introducing reforms in consultation with all stakeholders to improve healthcare services for doctors, medical staff and the masses.
