QUETTA: The Balochistan government has imposed Section 144 in Kech district of Makran division in view of the prevailing security situation.

The Kech district administration issued an official notification, stating that Section 144 has been enforced in the district in line with measures being implemented across the province to maintain peace and public order.

According to an advisory issued by the district administration and police, all forms of gatherings, including meetings, rallies, processions, protests and demonstrations, will remain prohibited during the enforcement of Section 144.

The district police urged citizens to strictly comply with the law and fully cooperate with the administration and law enforcement agencies to help maintain law and order.

The authorities also appealed to the public to refrain from any unlawful activities, warning that strict legal action would be taken against anyone found violating Section 144.
