Hezbollah claims its fighters are still battling Israeli troops near south Lebanon’s Beaufort castle, a day after Tel Aviv said it seized the strategic fortress and troops raised the Israeli flag there, AFP reports.

In a statement issued by Hezbollah’s operations room, the group says its fighters are in a “battle of attrition against forces of the Israeli enemy army who are present in the area”.
