Four vessels are confronted by naval forces as they attempted to cross the Strait of Hormuz and enter the Persian Gulf without coordinating with Iranian authorities, AlJazeera reports, citing Iran’s Tasnim news agency.

The Iranian news agency, citing an informed military official, says the vessels received an initial warning from Iranian naval forces but warning shots were fired, after the ships disregarded the notice, forcing them to turn back.
