At least 25 medical, nursing and administrative staff members were injured at Hiram Hospital in Lebanon’s southern Tyre district after an Israeli strike targeted the area surrounding the facility, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry, reports Al Jazeera.
In a statement, the ministry said it was the second time in less than two months that the hospital had been exposed to such dangers due to repeated Israeli attacks, describing the incident as further evidence of violations of international humanitarian law. It added that the latest strike caused significant damage to the facility.
