LAHORE: TV actor and model Momina Iqbal on Friday filed an application with the Chuhng police for the registration of an FIR against a PML-N lawmaker, levelling serious allegations of blackmail, harassment and death threats.

She alleged that PML-N MPA Saqib Khan Chadhar has been making threatening calls to harass her, her fiance and her mother who had tried to manage things for a reconciliation with him.

She claimed that the suspect turned offensive when she refused his marriage proposal soon after it transpired that he already had two wives. She said the lawmaker began to blackmail her and mentioned in her application the WhatsApp messages and video calls she received from him on her mobile phone. She alleged that the MPA also shared the same threatening messages on her sister’s mobile phone.

As per reports, Ms Momina visited the Chuhng Police Station along with her lawyers, met SHO Faheem Imdad and briefed him about the complaints.
