Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and Japan’s Toshimitsu Motegi have held a phone conversation, Al Jazeera reports according to Araghchi’s official Telegram account.

A brief statement said the call was held “to discuss bilateral issues and the latest regional and international developments”.
