The Israeli military has said an incident involving a “suspicious aerial target” has concluded in the country’s northwest near the border with southern Lebanon, Al Jazeera reports.

Alerts were activated, the military said, by the “infiltration of a hostile aircraft into the airspace over Rosh HaNikra”, but contact with the aerial target was lost, the Israeli army said in a message on social media.

No casualties were reported, it added.
