KARACHI: Prominent producer, director and media executive Dr Umair Haroon has officially joined the jury for the prestigious 2026 International Emmy Awards Competition.

Dr Haroon termed his participation as a juror follows his election to the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (IATAS).

The International Emmy jury is a strictly vetted panel composed of unique and experienced television professionals from over 60 countries, tasked with the evaluation of the programs and performers entered into the competition.

Reacting to the global honor, Dr Haroon expressed his commitment to using this international platform to showcase the intellectual and cultural depth of Pakistani storytelling.
