‘Battle of Truth’ termed golden chapter in country’s history
RAWALPINDI: Tehreek Nafaz-i-Fiqh Jafaria (TNFJ) Pakistan chief Allama Agha Syed Hussain Muqaddasi has said the “Battle of Truth” is a golden chapter in the defence history of Pakistan.
“The alliance of Zionism and Hindutva is a heinous conspiracy not only against the Muslim world but also against global peace and humanity. The victory of the air and ground forces in the Battle of Truth is a sign of divine support and the military superiority of the Pakistan Armed Forces.”
He expressed these views while addressing a prayer ceremony held at Jamia Masjid Ahl-i-Bait on the first anniversary of Marka-i-Haq on Sunday.
He said the triumph of Pakistan’s armed forces was being acknowledged worldwide. He said the TNFJ organised solidarity rallies across the country, adding the entire nation stands shoulder-to-shoulder with its armed forces for the defence of the motherland.
A rally was also organised in Rawalpindi in which the speakers reiterated that the entire nation stands united with its armed forces for the defence of the motherland.
Addressing the rally, the central secretary information of TNFJ Allama Qamar Zaidi said the entire nation must pledge that no sacrifice will be spared for the defence, security and stability of the country.
May 10 reminds world of Pakistan’s military bravery: minister
May 10 will continue to remind Pakistan’s enemies of the patriotic passion and bravery of its defence forces, who under the command of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir made history in self-defence and countering the aggressive designs of India.
This was stated by minister of state for finance and railways Bilal Azhar Kiani at a function organised at Akram Shaheed Park in Jhelum city. The minister said the victory achieved by Pakistan on May 10, 2025, had opened new vistas of success for the country at diplomatic fronts.
He said Prime Minister Shebaz Shatif, Chief of Defence Forces Syed Asim Muneer and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, by virtue of uniting efforts for regional peace during US-Iran conflict, highlighted Pakistan’s role as a stabiliser and preserver of peace.
The function organised by Deputy Commissioner Mir Reza Ozgen on Saturday night attracted a large number of participants. Musical concerts, fireworks show and skits on Pakistan defence were presented.
The crowds chanted slogans in support of civil and military leadership of country.
