QUETTA: A meeting of the Provincial Selection Board of Balochistan on Friday reviewed promotion cases of provincial government employees and recommended promotion of a total of 1,357 officers from BPS-19 to BPS-20, BPS-18 to BPS-19, BPS-17 to BPS-18, and BPS-16 to BPS-17.

The provincial government officers recommended for the promotion belong to agriculture, excise, colleges, culture, health, livestock, social welfare, schools, public health engineering, communication and works, energy, fisheries and other departments.

The board meeting was presided over by Chief Secretary Shakeel Qadir Khan.
