SOUTH WAZIRISTAN: The law and order situation in Lower South Waziristan has once again taken an alarming turn after unidentified armed men blew up a causeway in Ghowa Khowa area of Wana, Lower South Waziristan, late on Friday night.

According to police officials, the attackers used a drum packed with explosives to destroy the causeway, causing severe damage to a section of the road. However, no casualties were reported in the incident.

Police said panic spread across the area following the explosion, while authorities launched an investigation into the incident. No group has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
