TTAP’s Ammar Jan tasked with mobilisation
LAHORE: The Tehreek Tahafuz Ayeen-i-Pakistan (TTAP) leadership has assigned the newly appointed Punjab chief organiser Ammar Jan to coordinate with all allied parties including PTI to develop a movement.
The TTAP leadership led by Opposition Leader in National Assembly Mahmood Khan Achakzai and PTI secretary general Salman Akram Raja debated the political situation in Punjab.
While the TTAP is keeping political activities at low profile in Punjab and elsewhere, it asked the Punjab chief organiser to meet the leadership of all allied parties, constitute vibrant committees of professionals’ like doctors, lawyers, farmers etc.
Mr Jan, who is general secretary of Haqooq-i-Khalq Party and had joined the TTAP, told Dawn that he was in coordination with the allied parties’ leaders including different tiers leadership of PTI. He said the TTAP leadership also assigned the chief organiser to develop and launch policy papers to give counter narrative on incumbent Punjab government policies and actions. He said the TTAP’s Punjab chapter would also continue holding press conferences to inform media about the provincial government’s failures and way forwards.
