KARACHI: The traffic police have set 70 kilometers per hour as the maximum speed limit for cars, motorbikes and light transport vehicles on Sharea Faisal, it emerged on Saturday.

According to a notification issued by DIG Traffic Syed Peer Muhammad Shah, the speed limits for light transport vehicles/public service vehicles (LTV/PSV), motor cars and motorcycles have been revised from 60 km/hour to 70km/hour.

The speed limit for heavy transport vehicles/public service vehicles (HTV/PSV) will remain 30 kilometres per hour on Sharea Faisal.
