MoU to make anti-graft system more effective

QUETTA: A memorandum of understanding (MoU) was signed between the Pakistan Anti-Corruption Academy (Paca) and the Anti-Corruption Establishment of Balochistan.

Officials said here on Thursday the agreement would make the national anti-corruption system more effective, integrated, and in line with modern requirements.

The MoU was signed by Director General of Paca Ghulam Safdar Shah and Director General of Anti-Corruption Establishment Balochistan Naseebullah Kakar.

Under the agreement, both institutions will promote cooperation for professional training, advanced investigative skills, forensic analysis, and effective investigation of financial crimes, the officials said.

This collaboration is expected to improve the capacity of officers, which will provide a stronger foundation for anti-corruption operations.

This agreement will not only strengthen institutional linkages but will also play an important role in promoting transparency, accountability, and the rule of law in the country, they said.
