LAHORE: A cell phone was snatched from a university student near Wafaqi Colony on Canal Road in the jurisdiction of Jauhar Town police station.

Reports said Ahmad Bashir along with his friend was on his way on a motorbike in the area adjacent to Wafaqi Colony around 7pm on Monday. He briefly took his phone out of his pocket to check it when a person riding a motorbike, coming from behind, snatched his phone and ran away.

The police have registered a case.
