ISLAMABAD: Secretary General of Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians, Syed Nayyer Hussain Bukhari, has urged the youth to dedicate themselves to reading in order to gain knowledge across all disciplines.
“Book friendship is the path that leads humanity to its highest point of excellence.
To secure a prominent place among the nations of the world, the habit of reading is indispensable,” Bukhari added. In his message on World Book Day, Mr Bukhari said that books are essential tools for acquiring knowledge and advancing research.
“On World Book Day, we must remember the great teachers of intellectual awareness and conscious awakening,” he stated.
“The book has always held immense importance and will continue to do so.” He further said that reading is the most effective means of enhancing mental faculties.
Highlighting the party’s commitment, Bukhari said, “Access to education and the promotion of learning remain a top priority in the manifesto, programme, and policies of the Pakistan Peoples Party.
Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto took practical steps to ensure ‘Education for All’. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari continues to uphold the vision of the martyred leaders of the PPP.”
