QUETTA: A miner was killed and another injured when a mound of earth collapsed at a coal mine in the Khost area of Harnai district.

According to officials, the incident occurred at a coal mine operated by a private company in Khost town, where a sudden landslide buried two workers. As a result, Muhibullah, a resident of Killa Saifullah, died on the spot, while Pista Khan, also from the same area, sustained injuries.

The body of the dead worker was handed over to his family. The injured worker was admitted to the Basic Health Unit in Khost, but was later allowed to go home after his relatives arrived at the hospital.
