Bahrain summons Iraqi charge d’affaires over drone attacks launched from Iraq

Bahrain has summoned Iraq’s charge d’affaires in Manama to protest against what it called ongoing drone attacks launched from Iraqi territory against the kingdom and other Gulf Cooperation Council states, Reuters reports citing the foreign ministry.

Bahrain has delivered a formal note of protest and urged Iraq to address the threats urgently and responsibly, adding that the kingdom reserves the right to take all necessary measures to safeguard its security and stability.
