Iranian authorities say they have arrested 17 people in West Azerbaijan province on suspicion of working with the US or Israel, Al Jazeera reports.

In a statement carried by Iran’s IRIB broadcaster, the intelligence ministry has said some of those arrested are accused of sending sensitive information on military and security sites to US or Israeli-linked entities.
