LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Wednesday announced a full refund for all tickets purchased for the HBL Pakistan Super League, which is to be played behind closed doors.

The decision stems from the government’s energy conservation policy amid the USA-Israel conflict with Iran. In line with this, the PCB has implemented austerity measures, barring spectators from all matches.

With no fans allowed inside stadiums, the board has opted to refund ticket money to avoid inconvenience to supporters.

According to the refund policy issued on Wednesday, all online ticket holders will receive automatic refunds through their original payment method.

The refund process will commence on March 30 and is expected to be completed within 15 working days.

Ticket holders do not need to take any action to initiate the refund. Timelines may vary slightly depending on the bank or payment service provider.

In case of delays beyond the stated period, customers have been advised to contact their respective bank or payment platform for assistance.
