An AFP journalist has heard loud blasts over the Tel Aviv area, after the Israeli military said it had detected missiles fired from Iran.

First responders were working at an impact site in Ramat Gan near Tel Aviv shortly afterwards, AFP live footage shows.

Israel’s Magen David Adom emergency services have said there were no initial reports of casualties.
