HEALTHCARE FACILITIES: Turbat’s growing population faces a critical shortage of medical facilities. The existing hospitals are severely under-resourced, lacking sufficient doctors, paramedical staff, hospital beds, essential medicines and modern diagnostic equipment. This dire situation causes immense suffering for residents, particularly women, children and the elderly. In medical emergencies, patients are often forced to undertake long and hazardous journeys to other cities, leading to dangerous delays and, tragically, the loss of lives. The poorest segments of the community are the most affected, as they cannot afford private care or travel expenses. The authorities concerned should take immediate action for the welfare of Turbat’s people.

LIQUOR SHOPS: The growing number of liquor shops in Larkana is a matter of great concern to the local people. There are more than a dozen such shops that operate till late in the night. Even minors have an easy access to the illicit product, which is illegal and immoral. This un-regulated activity is destroying society. The entire scenario is really incomprehensible and unbelievable. The relevant authorities should look into the matter.

BEGGARY AND JOBLESSNESS: Beggary is often viewed as a social nuisance, but, in reality, it is a symptom of a much deeper crisis — the erosion of human dignity caused by unemployment. Across the country, countless people roam the streets in search of any form of paid work. It is particularly heart-breaking to see educated and capable individuals remain unemployed despite their utter willingness to contribute. Prolonged unemployment forces people into difficult and sometimes wrongful choices. To restore dignity of our citizens and integrity of our society, job creation must be treated as a national priority. Providing meaningful employment opportunities to our youth is the only sustainable solution to this growing crisis.
