Several blasts have been heard after air raid sirens sounded in Israel’s commercial hub, Tel Aviv, AFP journalists report, following a warning from the military that missiles had been fired from Iran.

“The IDF (Israeli military) identified missiles launched from Iran toward the territory of the State of Israel. Defensive systems are operating to intercept the threat,” the Israeli army has said.
