Trump says Iranian government will fall, ‘but maybe not immediately’

US President Donald Trump has voiced confidence that the Iranian people will rise up to replace their government following US and Israeli military strikes — but has added in an interview that it may not happen straight away, Al Jazeera reports.

“I really think that’s a big hurdle to climb for people that don’t have weapons. I think it’s a very big hurdle … It’ll happen, but it probably will be, maybe not immediately,” Trump has told Fox News Radio.
