Turkish-owned ship crossed Hormuz strait ‘with Iran’s permission’: Turkish minister
A Turkish-owned ship was able to cross the Strait of Hormuz with Iran’s permission, Turkiye’s transport minister has said of a critical artery where the Middle East war has essentially halted shipping, AFP reports.
“We have 15 ships in the Strait of Hormuz and were able to get one of them through after obtaining permission from the Iranian authorities,” Transport Minister Abdulkadir Uraloglu has told journalists.
