The United Arab Emirates’ defence ministry says its air defence systems have intercepted six ballistic missiles, seven cruise missiles and 39 drones, according to a statement issued on X.

“Since the start of the brazen Iranian aggression, UAE air defences have dealt with 268 ballistic missiles, 15 cruise missiles, and 1,514 drones,” the statement adds, noting that six people have been killed and 131 injured since the attacks started.
