The UN Security Council has adopted a draft resolution sponsored by the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) demanding that Iran stop its attacks against Gulf nations, Al Jazeera reports.

The resolution was approved with 13 votes in favour and two abstentions. No countries voted against the draft.
