Indian refiners slump as crude rockets to 2022 highs

Indian refiners slumped, as the widening US-Israeli war with Iran propelled crude prices to their highest in almost four years.

Indian Oil lost 6.6 per cent, HPCL dropped 7.5pc, while BPCL slid 7.1pc. Reliance Industries shed 2pc.

Brent crude jumped as much as 26.4pc to $117.16 a barrel and was last up 23pc at $114.08 by 9:15am IST.
