Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti has said that so far 1,979 people, including 37 diplomats, have entered Pakistan from Iran via Taftan.

“The arrival of Pakistani and foreign nationals is ongoing via Pak-Iran border area and they are being provided with all possible facilities and necessary assistance,” the chief minister said on X.

He added that the provincial government’s relevant machinery is completely alert and active in view of the ongoing tense situation in Iran.
