DERA GHAZI KHAN: Thirteen more Katcha gangsters surrendered to the law enforcement agencies on Saturday.

Police claimed that the gangsters belonged to the Andhar gang and other outlawed groups were involved in heinous crimes including murder, dacoity, highway robbery, extortion, and attack on police.

The dacoits surrendered before Rujhan SDPO Abdul Karim Khan and other law enforcement agencies at the SDPO office in Rujhan. The SDPO urged the remaining dacoits to also lay down their arms and surrender. He said the dacoits who had surrendered would be provided justice in accordance with the law.

Meanwhile, the surrendered dacoits expressed that they made their lives miserable and that the law provided them with an opportunity to surrender. They said they had repented and expressed hope for leniency from the Punjab government and the IGP.

They appealed to the Punjab government to play a role in transforming their future generations into peaceful Pakistani citizens by providing them with education, healthcare, employment, and basic facilities.
