RAWALPINDI: Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) Field Marshal Asim Munir has said Pakistan Army remains fully focused on addressing internal and external challenges, including hostile hybrid campaigns, extremist ideologies, and divisive elements seeking to undermine national stability.
The CDF expressed these views during a visit to Gujranwala and Sialkot garrisons, where he inspected a field training exercise and an advanced simulator training facility.
FM Munir also highlighted the significance of technological adaptability, noting that modern warfare demands agility, precision, situational awareness, and swift decision-making.
Earlier upon his arrival, the CDF was briefed on the formations’ operational readiness and key initiatives aimed at strengthening combat preparedness, said a news release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
He lauded the formation’s high professional standards and overall state of readiness.
While interacting with officers and soldiers, the CDF lauded their high morale and steadfast commitment to national security, while underscoring the importance of rigorous and mission-oriented training.
In Gujranwala, the CDF was received by Gujranwala Corps Commander.
Meanwhile, the ISPR has released a new national song titled Pak Sarzaminiyo, sung by singer-songwriter Asrar.
The song highlights the unity of the three armed forces and their unwavering commitment to defending the homeland. It vividly depicts the defence of Pakistan by the armed forces during the recent Marka-i-Haq this year.
