HYDERABAD, June 3: Noted poet and writer Nisar Hussaini (Syed Naik Mohammad Shah) died here on Friday. He was 65. Mr Hussaini had suffered a heart stroke and was taken to the Hyderabad Civil Hospital but he could not survive.

He was laid to rest in the Noor Shah graveyard in Tandojam.

A large number of writers and members of the Sindhi Adabi Sangat attended the funeral rites.
