LAHORE: The Punjab home department on Wednesday notified appointment of 37 junior psychologists in Punjab jails.

The 37 junior psychologists have been appointed through the Punjab Public Service Commission. They will asses the mental health of prisoners and strive to make them useful citizens in society. A home department spokesman says these psychologists have been attached with the IG Prisons office for a pre-induction training programme.
