LARKANA: A teacher suffered injuries when ceiling plaster in staff room at Government Girls High School, Mirokhan, came off and fell over her on Wednesday.

The teacher identified as Ms Zahida was taken to a private hospital and provided first aid as she had suffered a minor injury to her head.

The school’s administration stated that after finishing their classes, all the teachers were sitting in the staff room when the ceiling’s panels suddenly fell over them, causing head injuries to Ms Zahida.

The incident caused fear and panic among teachers and students, leading to the school being dismissed earlier than usual.
