GUJRAT: Sialkot Deputy Commissioner Saba Asghar Ali on Saturday extended the closure of educational institutions in the district from Sept 01 to 05 in the wake of flooding.

According to a notification issued late on Saturday, the DC said since the floodwater was receding slowly, public and private sector institutions closure had been extended for another five days.

Earlier, three days closure was announced.
