KARACHI: A cloth merchant was shot dead in Orangi Town on Monday, police said.
They added that Naeem Bashir, 40, had dropped his son at a private school near Shadab Ground on a motorbike and when he was returning armed motorcyclists fired at him and rode away. He sustained three bullet wounds in the temple, neck and chest and died on the spot.
The body was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for a post-mortem examination. The victim had a cloth shop in Banaras market.
The officer suspected some personal enmity behind the incident as assailants did not take away any valuable from him.
