Theft gang busted, valuables, vehicle recovered
ISLAMABAD: The Karachi Company police have arrested three individuals, including two women, who allegedly belong to an organised gang involved in multiple theft activities.
According to a statement, the police team also recovered stolen cash and a car used in the crime from their possession. Legal proceedings have been initiated, and further investigation is underway.
DIG Islamabad Muhammad Jawad Tariq stated that Islamabad Police is taking all necessary measures to ensure the safety of citizens’ lives and property. “No criminal will be allowed to disturb the peace of the public,” he added.
Meanwhile, following the directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad, Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, DIG Islamabad, Muhammad Jawad Tariq, held an orderly room in his office to ensure the timely and priority resolution of departmental and personal issues faced by Islamabad Police officers.
Officers from the Operations Division participated in the orderly room. During the session, police officers presented both personal and official issues to the DIG Islamabad.
In response, he instructed senior police officers to complete inquiries into serious matters afresh and issued orders to prioritize and resolve the remaining issues.
In another development, the Industrial Area Police Station team reunited three missing children with their families.
Citizens have been urged to report any suspicious activities to the relevant police station or the emergency helpline “Pucar-15” to help make the city crime-free through cooperation between the police and the public.
