Gaza’s government media office has announced the killing of photojournalist Adam Abu Harbid, raising the journalist death toll during Israel’s offensive in Gaza to 232, Al Jazeera reports.

“The government media office condemns in the strongest terms the systematic targeting, killing, and assassination of Palestinian journalists by the ‘Israeli’ occupation,” the statement published overnight on Telegram said.

“We call on the International Federation of Journalists, the Federation of Arab Journalists, and all journalistic bodies worldwide to condemn these systematic crimes against Palestinian journalists and media professionals in the Gaza Strip.”
